ITINERARY

Day 1:

Start your day by exploring the Gorge Walk at Point Lookout, which is the most popular walk on Straddie. It’s a gentle 1.5 km walk with stairs. You can find more information and maps of the coastal walks on boards around the Point Lookout headlands1.
In partnership with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, the island’s traditional owners, the Quandamooka People, have designed and constructed the new Mount Vane walking track. This 2.2-kilometer track joins two existing walks within the Naree Budjong Djara (My Mother Earth) National Park to create a 10-kilometer network of trails1.
There are two main bush walking tracks on the island within the Blue Lake section of Naree Budjong Djara National Park. Both tracks leave from the Blue Lake car park, which is about 9 km from Dunwich along Alfred Martin Way1.

Day 2:

Start your day by exploring some of the best hiking trails in North Stradbroke Island. You can find a variety of scenic trails on AllTrails and Trail Hiking Australia23.
One popular trail is the Kaboora Lake and Neembeema Track Circuit, located in Naree Budjong Djara National Park2. It offers beautiful views and is worth exploring.
Another option is to hike to Blue Lake via Kabul Track and Karboora Track2. This relatively easy hike takes you through stunning landscapes.

Day 3:

Spend your last day exploring more of North Stradbroke Island’s natural beauty. You can choose to revisit any of the previous trails or explore new ones.
Consider visiting other attractions on the island, such as Brown Lake, which is known for its tea-colored waters and surrounding picnic areas2.
