Patrick has over 20 years of experience in running multifaceted business that offers adventure travel, events, project management, and workplace safety services. His mission is to create and deliver extraordinary experiences that immerse customers in different worlds, whether that be through our amazing tours to exciting destinations, our professional communications and public relations, or our tailored safety solutions for various industries.

Patrick has a passion and expertise in adventure travel, especially for the 35 to 65+ age group, and I design and lead tours that facilitate clients to swim in a spectacular gorges, dance under waterfalls, swim in limestone tropical island caves and experience the magic of nature in an authentic immersive way.

Sharon Joiner began her career as a Copy Writer at a radio station, swiftly transitioning into the Events & Promotions team where she could blend her creative writing and event planning skills. Passionate about creating memorable experiences, Sharon found her niche in the event industry.

In her 20s, she moved to Sydney and embarked on a 15-year career in the IT/Telecommunications industry. Seeking new adventures, Sharon left Sydney to backpack solo around Asia and Europe for two years. After a brief stint in an Italian circus, an encounter with an Irish Diplomat and a summer in the Greek Islands, Sharon settled in the UK for the next decade.

Sharon worked for the UK Department of Trade & Industry in Event & Project Management before taking on an Operations Manager role within the Telecommunications industry in London. This career allowed her to live and work in over seven different countries across Europe and the USA.

Returning to the Gold Coast in 2008 with her young family, Sharon launched a highly successful cake business. Fifteen years later, she stands as one of the leading awarded cake decorators on the coast.

In 2021, Sharon discovered a renewed love for the outdoors and took up hiking. This passion brought her to Sky Road Trail. After enjoying a tour to the Great Ocean Road with the company, she offered Patrick some administrative assistance. This quickly evolved into creating, leading, and running tours for Sky Road Trail across Australia and the South Pacific.

Sharon brings her extensive event management and travel experience to every tour, ensuring each one is unique, quirky, and exciting. She loves 4WDriving and showcasing parts of Australia that are logistically challenging to reach, providing rewarding travel experiences and breathtaking scenery in hidden gem locations.

Sharon is continually seeking out new adventures and opportunities to share her love of exploration with others.
